It’s so surreal to even type these words. Even though motherhood is something I assumed would be part of my life I can’t believe its happening. Matthew and I are elated to be expanding our little family.
We enjoyed 8+ years of experiences and growth as a couple. We have had our fair amount of experiences together even lived in a different country (England)! Matt achieved his Masters degree and switched industry from O&G to Management Consultant. I lived the “starving artist” path from performing in ballet’s and opera’s to writing for a Fashion Magazine, staring my blog and building my brand on social media. We had our time to be selfish (mainly me) and I am so grateful for that time.
God’s timing is everything and while this hasn’t been the smoothest journey (more on that in another post) I couldn’t imagine a better time than the current gift God has given us. Currently our due date is August 11th 2021, of course it is an estimate, but I am so excited that as it stands our child is going to share a birth month with Matt. I hope they take after Matt a bit more than me, lol, so I get excited about any connection to him.
As of right now we are planning to stay in Florida for the delivery and first few months. As most of you may know by now both our families are in South Florida and I think this special time will be best celebrated with grandparents close by (who I will likely be leaning on a lot for help!). Keep my growing family in your prayers.
Welcome little one, daddy and I have prayed so much for you and your health on your developmental journey. We can’t wait to meet you!
