Don’t let the grey, rainy weather get you down! You can still have fun in the rain like you did when you were 7! I stopped by the Top Vintage warehouse last week and styled some awesome looks. Im excited to share them all with you soon. What I like about vintage pieces is they have a story, good for the environment and you can dress in themes!
Sporty minimalism is a big trend this year so I’d like to start with this cheerleader-esk minimal look. This summer its all about the crop top with a high waisted bottom piece. This turtle neck, white crop top with the pleated blue skirt totally channeling that sporty minimal look. In the Top Vintage warehouse this blue silk bomber jacket with tigers on the arms just spoke to me; “wear me, rawr”. I love the vibrant colors of the stitching contrasting against the electric blue of the jacket. Overall I feel like I’m straight out of a John Hughes movie or even [and bare with me because my Canadian is aboot to come out] an episode of Degrassi, the original of course.
Need to visit Top Vintage? They are an appointment only warehouse in Houston but on the last Saturday of each month they open to the public allowing people to purchase their goods at wholesale price. This bash is all day with food, refreshments & live music.
