Reebok Sole Fury: Two Ways to Wear this Sneaker

Reebok Sole Fury: Two Ways to Wear this Sneaker

Today I’m partnering with Reebok to tell you my story how I #SplitFrom convention.

I don’t consider myself a rebel or anything but I have this constant underlying drive where I don’t let others tell me what I can or cannot achieve.

My #Splitfrom Story

Very often in my life, I was told by teachers and peers that I shouldn’t pursue my dreams, big or small because I would fail. When I ran track and field girls on my team would heckle me and tell me before my race and tell me I would lose. I ended up being the youngest person ever recruited to a national track and field team in Toronto.

In ballet I had many teachers tell me I would never make it as a ballet dancer. One day when I auditioned for the American Ballet Theater Summer program one teacher actually laughed in my face when I excitedly told him about the audition. In the end, I was the ONLY student accepted to the program from that studio.

When I first started blogging it was considered odd and narcissistic, certainly not something to build a career on.

I can’t say I broke from conformity but I can say I have never let what other people might think of me define me, limit my future and my ability to achieve what I desired.

Keep close the people who support you, I’ve had a lot of amazing support in my life. Let go of people who don’t understand what you a building towards. You are the most important factor in your success.

I found personal successes when I pursued my passions positively, regardless of what people thought. From track and field earlier on to ballet for 20+ years, my hard work and creatively led to finding my self-expression as an artist, ballet dancer, choreographer and now content creator and fashion editor. From the beginning of my life, I loved creating beautiful things that made people feel something. With my current platforms, I hope help and inspire others own direction forward.

Now on this look…

I can’t imagine running around a city like NYC or Milan and not having a comfy sneaker on to get me places.

If you’re up to the latest in sneaker news you know that the Reebok Sole Fury drop is today, and there is much to appreciate in this shoe. It’s Reebok’s modern re-boot of their split cushioning design that they released in the 90s. The Sole Fury is described as a cross between and running shoe and a lifestyle sneaker, which means that while it has all the street style appeal, it offers all the perks of a running shoe. So, when I’m running late for a meeting, I can actually run to get there đŸ˜‰

They have a few color combinations. I think the white with neon and that pop of red is so fresh, but I have seen a black combo that looks amazing for winter.

Today I’m going to share how I styled my Reebok Sole Fury sneaks, which really isn’t that hard because I could wear them with everything.

Morning Errands in my Reebok Sole Fury:

Ok first look, on my way in the AM to get much-needed coffee (for me) and flowers (for my friend). It’s a little chilly so I wore and turtleneck under my oversized leather jacket and my workout tights. This way I can hit the gym, or just keep drinking my coffee amongst the flowers.

Reebok Sole Fury Afternoon Look:

For a day look, I switch into my new snake print pants and a cozy oversized sweater. I’ll be doing chic, girly things in the city from now on so animal print and luxury handbags are a must.
