I am very much into the French girl beauty look; little to no makeup with a focus on skincare.
My goal is to not need heavy coverage, and for my makeup look to showcase fresh even skin and slightly enhance my features.
This means investing in quality products that also work to improve your skin and not rely on them to “cover-up” areas of concern.
My hero products for a natural look include Perricone MD No Eyeshadow Eyeshadow. This serum has light eyelid coverage which I love since my eyelids are quite translucent. It also promises to smooth and firm the eyelid skin. Next is their No Mascara Mascara, can you spot a trend here? lol. This mascara is a darker brown and works beautifully. You can tell by my images that it definitely amplifies my lashes but
From Glossier I am a huge fan and repeat customer of their Stretch concealer and Wowder loose power. I’ve found their undereye concealer to work well on under eyes and breakouts. It doesn’t dry out and settle in eye creases/ wrinkles which is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I use the power lightly to set the concealer and get rid of shine. On most days I don’t wear foundation but when I do ( for events of shooting for the blog) I reach for my Giorgio Armani Maestro.
A translucent or natural colored gloss is my go-to and I find it more complimentary on me than very pigmented ones. A standout lip color for every day is Bare Minerals Bestie Patent Lipstick.
