Last Tuesday I visited Adara Medical Spa for a consultation and treatment. Sitting down with my esthetician, Izzy, all my questions and curiosities from chemical peels to laser facelifts and cool body sculpting were answered in ten fold. Since I had an event the following eventing Izzy suggested their HydraFacial; a resurfacing procedure with exfoliation, extraction and hydration while infusing antioxidants, peptides, and Hyaluronic Acid. The Hydra Facial is a non-invasive, non-irritating, non-surgical procedure delivering instant results with no discomfort or downtime. It promises hydrated, clean and younger looking skin pretty much instantly making it the perfect pre-event treatment.
For the procedure I was laying down in a pristine white treatment room, wearing a white robe and tucked, quite cozily, under a white blanket. The Hydra Facial, being a four step process began: (1) Cleansing and exfoliation. (2) Acid peel (3) Extractions (4) Serum application. Afterwards my skin felt super soft, plump and hydrated, which I appreciated as the colder weather had been drying me out a bit.
From the the procedures to the design concept there is beauty all around at Adara. They partnered with local firm, MC2 Architecture to create a kind of relaxed and peaceful feeling in the spa re-creating a dream-like atmosphere while staying very contemporary and professional. The 1,850 square foot facility on second floor of the modern Museum Point Professional Building is comprised of six treatment rooms and a spacious check-in/waiting area all featuring different textures of white with soft lighting attributing to the dreamlike quality of the space. See the contemporary dream for your self below!
