High waisted dark jeans and heels is the ultimate leg lengthening illusion. The jeans (American Apparel) dark indigo wash is perfect for these cooler months ahead and goes with just about any top. I love this classic, vertical striped (another lengthening illusion) button-up from Banana Republic. I accessorized lightly, like I always do, with my great aunts vintage pearl necklace The shoes, one of my Milan finds, are by Aquazzura. The 3 1/2 inch heels certainly help adding inches to my leg length but so does the fact that they are delicate and not bulky. Bulky shoes create an illusion of shorter legs even if they are giving you a couple inches of height. The over the shoulder bag that’s lasted me a couple years now by Cole Haan is supper versatile and comfortable for running around a busy city with just the necessities.
