I’m a city girl through and through. Growing up in a metro city, as Toronto was once called (not sure if it still is) I have have such an appreciation for everything a city life environment offers. I was exposed to so many cultures, people and personalities!
I remember walking around Toronto exploring so many different pockets the big city had to offer. My favorite spots were Yorkville, of course for the luxury shopping, trendy restaurants and “celeb spotting”. Then Queens street was a very young, trendy kinnnd-of hipster (before there were hipsters) spot filled with shopping mixed with vintage and subculture brands/ stores. Near there was China Town which I loved to visit for Dim Sum and bubble tea.
As I stay in Houston more and more I’m trying to find new places to visit! While I’m pretty familiar with what’s inside the 610 Loop I’m sure there are lots of really interesting places I’m missing! Right now, when I need my bubble tea/ Dim Sum fix I head over to our Chinatown where 85 C Bakery Cafe just opened up.
I would love to hear from my Houston readers what spots you love visit in Houston so I can go too and love it as much as you!
