Designer Latte Art for Beginners: Cheat Guide

Designer Latte Art for Beginners: Cheat Guide

Hey guys! Ever since sipping a branded latte art coffee at Coffee n’ Clothes, I’ve wanted to have the ability to make this cute drink on my own.

And really it’s not that hard, especially if you have a cappuccino maker or frothier.

How to Make Latte Art: Cheat Sheet
  1. Stencil, I got mine here.
  2. Topping, Cinnamon or powdered chocolate, I found the cinnamon tends to hold together better on top of the froth).
  3. Milk or Almond milk. Choose a liquid that holds the frothy consistency for a longer period of time if you want to take photos.
  4. Coffee!

I commissioned my stencils from a highly rated Etsy vendor. The stencil took a maybe a week in shipping because they are located in Canada.

I sent over my design requests with dimensions and they sent me back drafts for approval. These stencils are for my personal and enjoyment there is no issue using brand names and playing around with the CC logo. It was pretty simple and the price was very reasonable for the custom job.

I thought the stencils turned out very well. I made my first branded latte with cinnamon as the topping and it looked pretty decent as you can see in the video below!

The cinnamon latte art turned out much better than the chocolate one pictured below. Below, I used the powered dark cocoa as the topping and it bleeds into the froth very quickly. Tasted great though!

I think these would make such a cute addition to a branding event like a wedding, birthday or even getting your business logo!
