This custom Longhorn pendant from Brass Thread is kinda rocking my world right now! Husband and wife team Jessica and Jason are highly skilled and seasoned jewelry designers with roots in NYC, London & Houston and a very cool concept: unique, custom designed jewelry. Each pendant is hand made using tiny beads and swarovski crystals with a color story elegantly designed in collaboration with the client.
Creating my order could not have been simpler. Firstly I selected the base I wanted, then, in terms of design and color story, I relayed that I love white, turquoise, gold and black however I totally trusted them, the experts, for design and color combinations! My Longhorn came out perfectly, I love that it has a rock and roll vibe to it yet totally reflects my aesthetic and this new city I call home. It turned out to be a very multi-layered piece with emotional weight which is exactly what you want when getting custom pieces.
Going with the rock and roll vibe my Longhorn was giving me I styled it with my crushed velvet AG pants, a black tank top and a black studded cape jacket from Flora+Mia. This is a fun night out look and as you can see the longhorn necklace really stands out.
For a daytime look I swapped the studded cape out for this beautiful lace cardigan, also from Flora+Mia.
