At the beginning of the summer, I had the opportunity to sit down with the President of Sisley Paris at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Houston Galleria and learn more about this luxury beauty line. We discussed Sisley Paris’s rich history, sampled some of the most popular products and learned more about the excellent skincare line. What stuck with me most, which is really the underlying integrity of the brand, is the emphasis on constant research using modern technology to use the best of plant extracts.
For the past couple of months, I have been using Sisley-Paris “Instant Youth” Black Rose Cream Mask and Black Rose Precious Oil. The “mask” smooths, plumps and brightens the skin. It immediately gets to work on signs of fatigue and leaves the skin looking youthful and energized. There is no need to wipe away as it absorbs into the dermis. I like to use this all over my face in the mornings before I apply make-up, and touch up on fine lines later in the day ( if I remember ).
The precious face oil is anti-aging nutrition for the skin. It is best suited for dry or mature skin and it claims to visibly smooths wrinkles and fine lines, so how could I pass that up? Since my skin in neither dry or mature I use this oil sparingly, however, I see it being very useful during the winter or when traveling to dry climates. The oil absorbs into my skin with-in seconds, a tell-tale sign of quality essential oil, and the rose fragrance is practically therapeutic.
