This mini skirt winter outfit is such a cute little look for the holidays. I had to take advantage my ability to layer some of my favorite pieces during of the cold front that hit Houston last week! Waking up to the snow-dusted streets took me back to living in Toronto, Canada. However, our streets are a little more than dusted with snow during the winter months. I loved seeing everyone’s social media feed full of first snowfall sightings and mini snowmen crafted out of whatever snow stuck around through the mid-morning.
Growing up in Canada winter weather definitely took a toll on you #OOTD. In high school, I wore a uniform complete with a wool kilt that was worn all season around, so I’m no stranger to making skirts work in winter. For this look I used my long feather vest and layered it underneath my longline leather jacket.
